South Thames Colleges Group is a large FE College in south-west London, with Colleges in Kingston, Merton, Sutton and Wandsworth, providing a full range of vocational learning to around 20,000 young people, adults, apprentices, undergraduates and students with High Needs every year. Our institutions have proudly served south London for well over a century and evolved significantly to respond to changes in the employment market and the skills needed by the people who study with us. We work closely with many stakeholders, such as local authorities and associated bodies, universities, employers and schools to make sure there is an extensive network of contacts and partnership opportunities that ensures we are responsive, up to date and rooted in our communities.

Rated ‘good’ by Ofsted, the provision offered by STCG delivers high quality pathways for people to progress to work or further study and STCG sees one of the largest cohorts of students progress to Higher Education each year in the UK. We have a strong focus on meaningful destinations and believe our curriculum needs to be guided by a direct line of sight to the workplace if it is to be successful. We place great emphasis on our values and have given much focus to improving outcomes for disadvantaged members of the community and ensuring that we promote well-being, with close support from our partners.
