Schools and Skills

Schools in England lack a focus on skills and have insufficient vocational education options for older pupils. As the School Curriculum and Assessment Review led by Professor Becky Francis is in its consultation phase, will look at the issue of skills development in secondary schools, including the possibility of reintroducing vocational courses as an option for young people from Key Stage 4 onwards.
