Access Training
Access Training joined the Lifelong Education Institute because both organisations share a commitment to improving education in practical, meaningful ways. The aim is not to replace everything in the current educational system, but to build on the parts that are already working well and make them even stronger.
Access Training recognises that many learners, teachers, employers, and communities benefit from high-quality training, clear pathways, and supportive learning environments. By joining the LEI, Access Training can help expand these strengths, share effective practice, and contribute to programmes that support lifelong learning for people at different stages of life and work.
At the same time, Access Training understands that parts of the education system need assistance, fresh thinking, and change. Some learners face barriers to access, confidence, progression, or employment. Some systems may not respond quickly enough to the needs of individuals, industries, or communities. Through this partnership, Access Training wants to be part of the solution by helping identify gaps, improving support, and creating more inclusive, flexible, and relevant learning opportunities.
In short, Access Training joined the LEI to strengthen what already works, address what needs improvement, and contribute to an education system that better supports learners throughout their lives.
