About the Event
The LEI has previously published a report and a follow-up paper (Making Skills Work: The Path to Solving the Productivity Crisis and Skills and Productivity: Why does it matter?), arguing for increased practical links between our skills system and initiatives to drive productivity, within the context of upskilling and reskilling the workforce.
At the event, our aim is to build upon our previous arguments, recontextualise them within the current policy environment, and discuss what more is needed to address the UK’s productivity challenge.

Dr Fiona Aldridge, CEO, Skills Federation
Paddy Craven, Director of Policy, City & Guilds
