Models of Tertiary Integration

The issue of tertiary collaboration is firmly back in the spotlight. The Labour manifesto promised “to better integrate further and higher education”, and Skills Minister Jacqui Smith has made it clear that the main rationale for this strategy is to further widen access to higher education for disadvantaged groups. But what does better integration mean in practice? This event brings together speakers from institutions which have developed working models of FE/HE integration and will be an opportunity to explore in detail how they work and whether they offer a model that others could follow.
