Farnborough College of Technology
Farnborough College of Technology
Farnborough College of Technology is an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ general further education college based in North Hampshire. It teaches nearly every subject available for all types of learner; 14-16s, 16-18s, adults and professionals are all catered for. Construction courses are taught at a second campus, which is based in the neighbouring town of Aldershot. All other courses are taught on the main Boundary Road campus in Farnborough.
Recent investments at the College include an Aerospace Research and Innovation Centre, Emerging Technologies Centre, Special Educational Needs 6th Form, University Centre building, and various upgrades to facilities including our IT suites and engineering workshops where we have a light aircraft and jet engine.
The College plays a key role in supporting its community with lifelong learning. By introducing new courses and adapting the style of learning, the College has been able to support learners of all ages in Rushmoor, Hart, and beyond. Courses range from introductory level, such as GCSEs and Counselling, to more advanced, such as teacher training and our two-year accelerated degrees. Our Aldershot campus is also home to the ‘Building Heroes’ scheme, which provides construction skills training to those who have recently left the armed forces.
Open Events are held throughout the year at both campuses, and a wide range of information about all of our courses is available on the College website.
